Collagen is the body's most important building block and it makes up approx. 30% of the proteins in our bodies. Collagen is the key structural protein that ensures cohesion, elasticity and regeneration of all our connective tissues, including skin, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and bones.

What makes Peptiplus® Collagen Protein unique?

Type 1 and Type 3 Collagen Peptides 

Peptiplus® Collagen contains Type 1 and Type 3 Collagen Peptides. This means they are identical to the collagens found in human bones and skin. It is a high-purity, natural bioactive product, containing more than 97% protein (on a dry weight basis). 

Unique Amino Acid Composition

Our collagen peptides contain 18 amino acids, the building blocks of our tissues and the primary component of proteins. Glycine, proline and hydroxyproline represent around 50% of the total amino acid content. The glycine and proline concentration are 10 to 20 times higher than in other proteins. 

As a result, our product offers  that cannot be found in other protein sources.


Optimised for High Bioavailability and Bioactivity

To ensure bioactivity, it is essential to have exceptional bioavailability in the target tissues. Our product has been shown to have high digestibility and excellent absorption. More than 90% is digested and available as small peptides in the blood stream within one hour. 

From the blood the peptides are transported into the target tissues, e.g. skin, bones and cartilage, where they act as building blocks for the local cells and help boost the production of new collagen fibres. 

Added Vitamin C

We have also added Vitamin C to the blend which increases the utilisation and generation of collagen within the body. Vitamin C interacts with the amino acids within the collagen cells. It adds hydrogen and oxygen to those amino acids, helping them to do their part in collagen production.
