Songs of Faith and Devotion' is the eighth studio album by Depeche Mode, originally released in March 1993 by Mute Records. The album features a blend of gospel and lush orchestral arrangements, with the added touch of hard techno on tracks such as 'Rush' giving the album even more depth. Producers Flood and Alan Wilder really pushed the recording techniques with this album, and the result is melodic grunge without the distortion.
