Care and Cleaning: The VIM should be cleaned before and after every use - including when you first receive it. Use unscented, mild soap or toy cleaner. Do NOT submerge the VIM or hold it under running water. Use a washcloth to apply the soap and water, taking care to keep the cleanser on the head of the massager, away from the joint underneath the massager head. For any lube on the handle, spot clean with a lightly dampened washcloth with a mild soap. If adding lube to the VIM, it is only compatible with water-based lubes.
