Make old things new again! Twig & Tale patterns pair wonderfully with upcycled fabrics. The Pixie Hat uses very little fabric so look to gorgeous vintage garments and trims and precious fabric scraps for inspiration.

Suggested Fabrics
Mid-weight woven fabrics such as wools, cottons and linen.
Recommended to use a “slippery” lining such as satin, silk, bemburg. This helps the hat to slide over the doll’s hair and reduces friction which can make yarn hair go fuzzy.

Scraps! (or 1⁄4 yard (25cm) of 44” (115cm) wide fabric)

Ties: yarn to make braided ties, bias binding or ribbon
